Attempting to Lose Some Weight
October 13th, 2005 by Kyle at 3:05 pmSince I work from home, and work way too much at that, I’m starting to become a victim of computer ass, namely, I sit on my ass all day working on the computer.
My pants don’t fit so much anymore, and I’m experiencing a loss of energy. Really, I just want to lose my gut. As of October 12th, 2005, I clocked in at 212 lbs, which makes me about 24lbs overweight for my height of 6′0″ and frame size. I’m going for 190, preferable 185.
Here is a calculator I used to determine my ideal weight.
Today I started off my morning with a breakfast of oatmeal and a banana. Mid morning I ate an apple for a snack, then had a turkey sandwich without mayo and some baby carrots with a glass of milk for lunch. I had another mid afternoon snack of celery with peanut butter, which I loved as a kid. Celery helps you poop really good too.
Additionally, I’m trying to walk a mininum of 3 miles a day. I used to walk all the time, then I fixed my car and got lazy. So I took the mile round trip walk up to the coffee shop for a delicious poop enducing cup of house coffee with no cream or sugar. I prefer my coffee black anyway, like they say, once you go black, you never go back.

Good luck on your diet man. I clocked in at 294 and restarted Atkins. Celery really takes the edge off the need to “crunch” food, especially on Atkins. I’m gunning for 220 lbs, which is where you started….and I can conquer….Celery does help you poop!!!
